How do I tell her we don't want to tell people "cash only", we took the time to register and want people to bring whatever gifts they feel comfortable with. She is my FH stepmom and new to the family. This just seems like the tackiest idea to me and I don't want to hurt her feelings. My sister has offered to throw us a shower on that side of the family, but she has already spent a lot on another shower, so that responsibility should not fall to her....I am so worried someone is going to get upset!
