Dillard's registry question

I was looking around at places to possibly register and I found that Dillard's has the dishes we want (Fiesta) at the best price and probably the best selection. Has anyone used Dillard's for a registry or known someone who has? If so, was it a good place and did guests actually buy off it? And would you recommend Macy's over it? Thanks!

I've never known anyone who registered there but I love Dillards and would totally buy a gift there if that is where the registry was.

This is a "know your crowd" situation. We have a department store registry at a regional chain because I know our guests will shop there before they would Macy's or another national chain. If your guests are Dillard shoppers, then create your registry there. Also remember that your guests don't have to purchase gifts from the place you're registered, even if they're shopping 'off your registry'.

We registered at Dillard's and love it! We had no problems with our registry. We also regisitered at Bed, Bath, and Beyond and people seemed to like Dillard's the best, ironically. We just assumed that BBB would be cheaper for folks since they do the 20% coupons and all, but I guess we were wrong!
