Crate & Barrel Registry--Guests not providing information??

Hi gals! I'm registered at Crate & Barrel. They have a Thank You manager where you can view who has bought you a gift (so you can send thank you notes). Unfortunately, a few of my guests have decided that they'd rather remain anonymous and not provide any information about themselves. Apparently this is an option C&B provides, which I wasn't aware of. I haven't opened any of my gifts as of yet so I'm not sure if maybe C&B gave me a receipt with their information, but otherwise I have NO idea who gave me these things! Anyone else experienced this??

Anytime you receive a gift (unless it's for a shower and they asked you to wait for the shower to open it) you should open to inspect and promptly send a thank you note.  Open your gifts but don't use them until after your wedding.  They might have attached a note to the present.

Uh, I really wouldn't worry about this. There's probably a card or something with the gift that will tell you who it's from.

Most times the packing slip inside the box will list the sender.  Definitely open the box to make sure the gift arrived safely.  We got quite a few gifts from BB&B that were either missing pieces or were broken (all of which they replaced, but still)....

I agree, open them.  The ones from C&B that we received in the mail had a little card saying who they were from.

I'm actually pretty sure that C&B only pushes the thank you manager so hard because they intend to then send these people catalogues until the end of time. We chose not to even have it on.

they should give you a card with it. Although ive already had my shower and a bunch of random things were purchased of my C&B registry (1st to buy something) and i never got them. No thank you manager info either. Im wondering if they are wedding gift but its all really small things like a beverage jar label etc

A couple of our cards were detached from gifts and I couldn't figure out who gave what. I brought the packing slips to C&B and they were able to tell me who purchased what item. We didn't use that thank you manager.
