We just got back from our honeymoon in Cabo. It was fantastic, the weather was great (unlike here from what I've heard), and it was so nice to FINALLY relax! Our wedding was pretty close to perfect too!! Here we go with the reviews so far:
Venue: Piazza in the Village A+++The Piazza was absultely wonderful! Michelle, the cooridinator there, was a godsend! She delt with my crazy family and friends, kept me calm and just really handled everything that needed to be tended to. They have a wonerful sound guy that made sure all our music played correctly and kept us on time considering I used one song for me and the bridesmaids to walk in to....which had to be timed perfectly so I could make my entrance at the right time. The food was so good too. I thnk I loved the twice baked potatoes the most!
Photographer: Jeff Loftin Photography We haven't seen any pro pics yet but Jeff and his wife Andrea were wonderful to work with. I will update when we get the pro pics for sure!
DJ: Glenn Roush A++++I don't even have words to express how awesome Glenn is
. He started out our reception by bringing us in before the wedding party so that we could have front row seats to the "roasting" of our wedding party. It was absolutely hilarious!! He kept the night flowing and played the perfect songs all throughout the night. Our dance floor was packed all night! I can't recommend him enough!!!
Florist: Signature Productions A-Our flowers were beautiful. Ed and his team did a great job. I loved our manzanita centerpieces!! I think we could have gotten a little more for what we spent but it was still really prettty.
Cake: Opulent Cakes A+ for the cake; D for the chocolate fountainOur cake was delicious and really pretty, but we also got a chocholate fountain and it was supposed to be white chocolate. That may not be a big deal to yall but that was the ONE thing Chris wanted in lieu of a grooms cake. Niether of us really like milk or dark chocholate but we do like white chocholate. We didn't even go over and look a it because we didn't want to stress about it. I am calling them on Monday so we'll see if the compensate us in some way.
Hair: Toni & Guy AAbraham at the NE Mall Toni & Guy did a great job. He was so quiet and looked like he was working on a masterpiece the whole time, whice I liked because I was tired and not wanting to chit chat
Make-Up Artist: Desiree w/ MAC cosmetics A++What a cool girl she was. I told her that I wanted dramatic eyes and she delivered! I couldn't have been more pleased with the end result. I will definitley use her again for any future weddings or special events.
Hotel (night of): Gaylord Texan A-The Gaylord was definitley beautiful but the bed was kind of hard for an executive suite (we did the groupon a while back) but maybe I'm just used to my own bed...I dunno, usually I'm not picky when I'm drunk so that's what makes me think they really are hard!
Transportation: Rolls Royce from Imperial Limousines A+Our driver was at the Piazza on time and since we had him for three hours we went to the bar with our friends for a lil bit before going to the Gaylord. No complaints here!
I think that's all of them but if I left anything out just let me know! All in all....it was perfect in my eyes and I'm MARRIED!!! Whooo hooo!!
