2nd Cross Post Need HELP with NYC Hair & Makeup

We are 81 days away from our wedding (thanks knot.com for counting down for me!)....and I don't have a makeup artist or hair stylist booked!! Help!! I am totally overhwelmed looking at websites of makeup artists and hairstylists. There are several that look good that have gotten good reviews but I can't go to 5 different people for trials (too expensive!!)...can anyone give a first hand recommendation or inside info about any of the people listed below??? I also have a big group of girls/moms that will want these services too so anyone in a similar situation is welcome to weigh in. THANK YOU!!! Sally Duvall...I wasn't overwhelmed by the bridal pics of her site, the makeup seemed very muted, but I love that she uses that special airbrush makeup and she says it lasts 10-12 hours without smudging or rubbing off Damali NYC...website seems good, I like that they do hair & makeup Bridal Gal....the makeup airbrushing looks good Stephanie Barr...not even sure how I found her but she also does airbrushing, large bridal parties and has a lot of good web reviews The Glam Fairy...another airbrush person, can accomodate a big group of people Stacy Pitt....I know she has gottten rave reviews on here but the pics on her website all seem the same...like she pretty much has three styles she does on everyone and then just varies them and they all seem to involve curling hair I sratched Once Upon a Bride off the list after a lot of mixed reviews.... I had been recommended Kristan Serafino and Paul Innis for hair and makeup but don't know anything about them other than that they are expensive

I absolutely loved my makeup artist. Jennifer Ann cosmetics. She works at Salon Entourage in Long Island but she's based in NYC and can travel to you.www.jacosmetics.comI found her literally 10 days before my wedding. Her prices were slightly better than anywhere else I found ($75 trial; $85 day of - she gives you lipstick, lip gloss and lipliner free). She works quickly but does an AMAZING job. I can send you pics - email zerbada at gmail. (And if you use her, I'd love it if you told her I recommended her, but I don't want to post my real name online.)My highly critical sis and BM LOVED her. She did me, my mom, plus 3 BMs in 2 hours. The only thing I needed to touch up during the day was my lipstick because I ate, drank, kissed. Everything else lasted and I still looked great at the end of the night. This is probably out of your way but - We got our hair done at Salon Entourage in Long Island. Entouragestudio.com Yvonne did my hair, Jen did the BMs hair. I think Jen was better, but Yvonne was fine and I was REALLY indecisive. I thought they were all great and we had a great time at the salon. For hair, I'd choose whoever has the best price/is most convenient. If you know what you want, most hair stylists can do it. If you hate the trial, then you can change.Don't worry - you have plenty of time.
