Vent-Tiffany's

I am serioulsy ticked off right now. Over the weekend FI and I went to Tiffany's to look at wedding bands. We were there for 30 minutes and noone so much as greeted us. We were on a tight schedule so we left. Monday I called, left a message, Tuesday I called spoke with a salesperson who said she was with a customer and would call me back, she never did, yesterdayI called again and spoke to another saleperson got the same response and no return phone call. So, I filled out a formal complaint with customer service and was told I'd receive a personal phone call within 24 hours and we would resolve the situation. It's been 28 hours and no call. I know I should just forget about it and move on but, I'm a frequent customer there I hate being treated like that and the people who did it don't have any repercussions. Uhhhh.... I'm still steaming!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Is there another Tiffany's in your area? Maybe you should try another one and leave that one alone becaue it seems as though you will never get any help resolving this issue. Make sure to follow up on the problem because it's something that is important to you but try not to let it consume you. There are more Tiffany stores out there

I hear you. We decided not to get our wedding bands at Tiffany's after similar experiences. My FI walks into Tiffany's he's fawned on, I walk into Tiffany's by myself and I'm ignored. I mean hell I'm wearing your stuff obviously I can afford it pay attention to me! This happened more than once. So I decided screw them. I have told the FI no more Tiffanys we have decided to spend our money at companies that can look past color. You can find beautiful bands somewhere else, we like some we found at Movado check them out.

I really think its the location of the Tiffany's  I went to the one in VA by Tyson's and was ignored until I made my presence known.  I had on tiffany's and an expensive designer purse. BUT I went to a Tiffany's in Charlotte, NC and was treated very nicely.  I even got follow up postcards from the salesman that helped me.  The employess work on comission so its in there best interest to help you.  THe saleman in Charlotte was like he would be my personal Tiffany's shopper if I wanted.  He was like if I see something online or in another store just give him a call.  I can purchase over the phone and he will overnight it for free.  And one time when they shipped to me and the stupid UPS man left my package at my front door with no signiture and it was stolen.  I called the salesman in Charlotte and he sent me another bracelet that very same day.  He was like dont worry about it I will follow up with UPS about the complaint.  And for me to just enjoy my purchase.

I know exactly where you are coming from. Just keep moving to a different location/store. Not worth it!

Ditto the folks who said not to let this particular store get a dime more of your money. You can always file a formal complaint with headquarters.

Definetly  try another store because last year before fi and I went to Jared's, I saw an ad in a magazine of a Tiffany's ring and wanted to know the price, which the website was a bit confusing for me. I emailed them and 24 hr later they emailed me back about pricing and what/what not included with the ring purchase.

That is so ridiculous!  Contact corporate via email or letter and notify them that they just lost two customers and go on to the next establishment.

Crystalis77 The Tysons store is the one I always have problems with! But I've also had problems at the Chevy Chase store. Tiffanys in this area suck!

OMG...OFF I have experienced the exact same thing. P (the lion that he is) told one lady off. When we walked into the jewelry store, I pointed out the rep that I had tried talking to that barely bid me the time of day. Well low and behold when P strolls in, she's all smiles. He point blank said he wanted to talk to someone else cuz when his wife came in she wasn't very helpful. Spim, take your bitness elsewhere. Spend your green money where they dont care what u look like - green is the only color that matters!

I have heard other stories like that about Tiffanys. I also went to Tiffany's in Tyson to buy a shower gift. I was treated pretty well, granted my mother shops there when she is in DC, so she goes to the same rep...I called and asked for the rep that helps her. He was waiting for me when I arrived. It's not that serious if it doesn't change your life at the end of the day. I have learned to accept people for who they and where they are in their life. Address the issue only if it bothers you and keep it moving.

That settles it!  After your experience at Tiffany's I will never ever shop there!  Well....I can't actually afford to shop there anyways, but still that's bulls---!  I cannot deal with poor customer service.

I'm sorry you had that terrible experience at Tiffany's.  I truly hope their corporate office makes it right. I purchased something from there a few years back, but it was during the holidays, so it was supper busy and jammed packed. I felt I was treated just as badly as everyone else crammed in the store. LOL...
