Vent: I'm So Mad...

I want to freakin' spit nails! Anyway, I've been fortunate so far with wedding planning, people being supportive, no drama etc. until I ordered my wedding dress. I am ordering my wedding dress from a BBB business that makes wedding dresses. They use Google Checkout. I sent my order and they received it, then it was canceled two days later by freakin' Google! So I look through my e-mails and I forgot to verify my e-mail address. So I'm thinking all I have to do is verify and everything should work, right? WRONG! Google wanted verification of who I am. So because I really want my dress for this nice price, I provided the needed documentation. I just got an freakin' e-mail that my account has been suspended because my e-mail does not comply with their Terms and Conditions. Now I'm one of those people who actually READ the terms and conditions and there was no violation! I sent a cordially heated e-mail because not only is there no real reason why this is happening but these MOFOs don't have PHONE SUPPORT!!!! Everything is through e-mail. This is the first time I have used Google Checkout and it just may be my last time. If it wasn't for the fact these ladies come highly recommended and I have friends that have used them, I would say fudge it and do something else. Man, I don't need this s#$%^ right now! Sorry so long but I am beyond pissed.

Did they take your money, or cancel everything? What sort of place is this? Do they make knock-off styles or legit dress designers? Some of those can be shady, and to use only internet...I'm a bit skeptical, but it sounds like you did your research on them. I think I need more info

The order was canceled by Google, no money has exchanged hands. They used to have a boutique in TN but went totally online to keep costs down. They have many years of experience in making custom gowns. The place itself is on the up and up, it's Google that giving me the headache by canceling my ordering saying my e-mail was against Terms and Conditions. I sent an e-mail to them asking for a better explanation because I READ the Terms and Conditions and my e-mail address is compliant.

**ladylum**: I know the online boutique well. I put a deposit down on the SATC dress. I started feeling weird about the whole process. They could only do things via email and some of my line sisters that live in Nashville couldn't verify who the seamstresses were. One of them actually believes that the seamstress is really this guy that went to TSU that calls himself Giovanni. Not the old lady seamstresses they play them selves to be.  I heard those are just aunties or something of his that are paid to email back.  All of this is hearsay though. The "store" or whatever is in Antioch, TN. I decided to get a back up dress just in case but ended up loving the backup and have decided to ditch the SATC. The prices they list are off the chain though so I know why you are using them. Be careful as I get a weird vibe about them. Ci

Thanks for the heads up cicy. I love that dress so I talked to FI about it and he said if it's meant for us to get it this way, it will work out. If not, we will just pay the money to get from the direct vendor. I'm a huge planner so I am already looking around to see what the second lowest price I can get for it from a store.
