I have gotten through the midterms and I am making my return to wedding planning. A lot has happened since my hiatus. The shower for my cousin and BM went well, she was very appreciative of my efforts; another one of my BM (another cousin) got engaged as well as one of my MOHs. On a less happy note, my grandmother has been in the hospital for the last week and a half and is struggling with some throat problems, we are all praying for the best, but it looks like she will need surgery to remove a growth on her parathyroid. She is not really eating as a result of her throat problems. And to add insult to injury, Alfred Angelo is discontinuing my color, seafoam...I found out only by the grace of God and not because the company felt compelled to notify me that the color will not be available after October 30th. As a result of their poor customer service, they lost 8 dress orders, and I have hunted down a very similar color at a small boutique dress shop. All in all, I'm glad to be back to my supportive AAW Knottie family, I missed you ladies!
