Why don't DOC email mck?

Out of all of the vendors out there, DOC are the ones who will not reply to me. I've now emailed 4 of the most highly recommended ones and NOT ONE has replied to me. Perhaps they are booked for my date already, but still. WTF?! Every other vendor I've contacted has been awesome about returning emails (except Tom Douglas, who is on my shitlist forever because of it!). It's crazy that these people just plain don't!

Thats crazy! Even if they were booked for your day they should still let you know! I'm sorry. Maybe they are very busy.. how long have you given them to reply? Have you tried to call them? I noticed last time I emailed mine it took a week or 2 to get a response but its understandable considering being a DOC isn't their only jobs. I think its just that time of year.

It's been a week for the first round, a few days for the second round. Ugh! I'm going to just keep waiting but it doesn't inspire confidence, that's for sure.

Oh, I forgot that travel agents suck, too. The first two I emailed never replied!

Yeah, I'm not sure if I would write them off or wait.. Hard decision, especially if they are the ones people have recommended. I say give until next week and then start emailing or calling again. I could understand it not inspiring confidence. I would be a little hesitant!

I would add hair stylists/make-up artists too.  I've had two of them not even call or email.  I even called and left a message saying "if you are booked please just let me know by email or a quick call." Still no answer.  So sad.

I agree with the hairstylists. I had a hard time getting one responding to my emails. When it gets more important/closer this will probably be stressing me out!

Hair/makeup people were the worst. Argh. I never had problems with the DOCs I contacted.

I had NO problem with hair/makeup but I only contacted one after seeing recs/pics here. I am using Blush and they are SO nice!

See I look at it this way apparently they are busy and they don't need your business. Write them off and move on. Their are plenty who are looking for your business. I would not waste my time I don't care how they come recommended. If someone does not respond to my email or phone calls within a week I move on. My time is valuable to. But thats me.

That is so ODD! Are you sure your emails are going through? I contacted 7 and all of them got back to me. Some the same day; some within 2 days. Did you email them direct or via their websites? As for travel agents, I know a fantastic one! She's out of Renton, been in the business forever, and is super efficient and on top of it! If you want her contact info, let me know.

i had no problems with my DOC...responded to every email right within a day and answered every phone call...i've never left a voicemail with them! hair/makeup on the otherhand.......
