After spending hours scouring websites and researching places near and far we finally decided on a place and booked about an hour ago. It is totally unexpected and completely uncharacteristic but we've decided that:

We are going to honeymoon at DISNEY WORLD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I can't wait to see the look on everyone's face when we announce it at the reception.

    I think its a great idea!  I'm 27 y/o and have NEVER been...i'm sure it will be super fun!!!

    stupid question but, i have never heard of the "announcing of the honeymoon destination," is it a formal part of the reception?  If so, I might have to steal that idea!

    Great!  Lol! A honeymoon is a honeymoon and as long as you and FI are having fun and enjoying quality time it doesn't matter where it is. Have a great time!

    Awesome!!! I was thinking about doing that for our honeymoon because my FI has never been and I just couldn't believe hat!! I went so many times when I was little! But we eventually decided on going another time... so happy for you.. such a big check!!

    Many couples go to Disneyworld for their HM.  I hear it is a lot of fun!!

    Yay!! I thought about it also because FI has never been and we won a free trip to Orlando, just haven't decided for sure yet.

    Have fun. Let me know if you want to know where the outlets are near by or any resturant recommendations. I live about 20 minutes from disney.  And I think the time your coming the food and wine festival will be going on at Epcot.

    Nice!!! I lived in Orlando for almost 2 years and I went to disney a couple of times - you both will have fun! Also, the weather in Orlando at that time will be perfect :)

    We only went to boston for part 1 of our honeymoon because we are taking a familymoon on a disney cruise. Not my first choice but i will enjoy it.

    We went to Disney World for our HM! FI surprised me with it because it truly is my favorite place on Earth. :) He's still grumbling about it, but I'm so happy he bit the bullet of his idea of a typical honeymoon and went this route. My dad used to take me every summer until a few years ago. I love it! Yay for you!
