Oh, I LOVE THE VINEYARD!!!! My annual trip isn't until August, and I cannot wait!!

Definitely Stay in Oak Bluffs. WE are ALL OVER this town. Every week, there are different events at different spots, so my suggestions on "where to hang out" will depend. When you get there, pick up a Vineyard Gazette newspaper. That will tell you about any concerts, or parties going on that week.
THen, go to the Town beach (the inkwell) and just sit amongst the people. People WILL be buzzing about any good events like jazz concerts, parties, etc. Folks in OB are quite friendly and will be HAPPY to tell you what's going on.

Must dos:
If you bring a car, drive around the rest of the island. Every town is SO different and beautiful and they are ALL worth seeing.

If you Don't bring a car, and will be mainly in OB:

In Oak Bluffs:
Walk (several times) up and down Circuit Avenue. The shops are adorable!

Walk through the Gingerbread cottages. Go see the Norton house ( nearest to the the corner of Ocean Park. It is a Work of Art!

Eat at Jimmy Seas Pan Pasta (arrive EARLY)

Eat some homemade Ice cream at Mad Martha's and have a homemade bagel/coffee at Mocha Mott's

Have a Fish sandwich and/or Lobster Roll for Lunch at Nancy's. Accompany this with a dacquiri from Donavon, the Jamaican bartender on site!

REST, Relax, Soak up the Ocean Air!Cool

(Can you TELL I L.O.V.E the Vineyard????) lol

THANKS< I was TRYING to remember the name of this restaurant! YES, Lola's has Great food. Also, they usually have live bands and/or DJ's througout the week with dancing. Definitely find out when their big night is and head over!

AHHH, all of this MV talk makes me want to go put on my Black Dog sweatshirt and Dream of The Vineyard!
