I'm driving myself determining our colors....Help Me Please

We are planning a summer wedding and Im stuck on Chocolate and Ivory/Champagne...is it too wintery?? FMIL suggested Merlot. Do I need to add a pastel or something? Help me please.

When I hear chocolate, I think fall. But hey, it's your wedding! I don't think the colors HAVE TO match the season. Check out http://www.theperfectpaletteblog.com/. It was really helpful when we picked our colors.

I think Chocolate might be a little out of season but so what. Go to http://snippetandink.blogspot.com/ because that way you can look at color inspiration boards.

All 3 kinda remind me of fall colors. You could keep the chocolate, but maybe include a color that gives it more of a pop.

I agree. Add something maybe bright. I think a cool thing to do is take your colors or other options (get the paint sample papers) and if you are allowed to, go to the ceremony and reception sites and see which one's work best there.

My colors were orange and hot pink, but we changed venues and I didn't feel those colors worked great for the venue and so I switched to ivory and bamboo/celery green.
