OKay ladies, so we are doing the Mehndi & Mayon. My sister and my mom talked a lot about it and I think we are going to do it. Although timing wise is not working out so great, in which I am hoping you guys can help me plan this out.
We are planning to have the shaadi on Saturday night, Reception for Sunday night and I was hoping to have the mehndi and mayon together on the Friday since many guests that are from OOT could attend, which comprises majority of his guest list. The problem which I had asked previously but haven't had any luck figuring it out is that we are not giving a henna party, so when will I get my mehndi done? Hisbelovedone pointed out that the turmeric would ruin the mehndi coloring and I don't want to do that. Most of our guest probably won't able to attend if we do it during the weekday, so I don't want to do that, which would mean pushing it up a week ahead but that means there aren't going to be many guests from groom's won't be able to attend.
so ladies, When should I put my mehndi on? How can I stop it from losing it color because of turmeric or putting it on too early...? etc etc etc.
