So, I totally thought that the venue balance was due at the time of the wedding... until I got an email from them today, saying that ours was LATE because it's actually due 90 days prior!  Luckily, they are super nice, and not voiding my contract or anything, but wow do I feel like a jackass.

Well, at least we will have our most expensive vendor paid off...

lol that sucks. 90 Days seems early to me, but oh well... I put alarms in my phone so I knew when each one was due. You might want to go through your contacts and mark them on your calendar.

Lol, FI and I were going over our budget last week and I looked at our contract with our venue and realized that final payment was due 60 days prior (today).  Whoops!  Fortunately I got it out last Friday and emailed her letter her know it was on it's way.  Don't worry - you're not the only one who thought you didn't do final payment for venue until day of.   Honestly, I'm sure it happens to them pretty often.

Something like this happened to me last week!!!
I was talking to fmil and we were discussing the cost of food and that I had x amount of money left from what my dad had given us and I was going to put that towards the food... and then I realized!! how stupid I was!!!! I forgot to pay off the photographer!!! we still owe her $1200! How could I have forgotten that!?!?!
