Choose my bridesmaid shoes

I posted this on the 8/12 board, but would like your advice too!  I need advice on what shoes would go best with my bridesmaid dresses.  Here you can see the 6 dresses my girls will wear (colors: appletini/pine/jade): http://ugc.theknot.com/1356009-small.jpg The men will wear khaki suits.

Here are the ones I have narrowed it down to (need to keep < $25):

Re: Choose my bridesmaid shoes

  • I'm not a fan of matching shoes, especially since they all have different colored dresses. I think it would be easier to let them choose their own shoe, and cheaper for you! (Since I'm assuming if they have matching shoes, you would buy them for the girls.)

All of this - exactly. If you want them all the same color then tell them to get white shoes or silver or nude or whatever color you want. Otherwise, no one is really going to notice people's shoes. Let your BM's use whatever shows they want to and it's one less thing to worry about.

  • I have to agree with the prior posts. Let the girls pick their own shoes. People can and can't wear certain types of shoes for various reasons.
I can wear super high heels like it's nothing. Put me in a pair of flats, I'm in nothing but pain in my back and knees.
My best friend had surgary on her foot  a few years ago to correct a mis-healed bone. Can't wear heels for very long without hurting.
Another good friend has wide feet. She can wear heels/flats, no problem but she has to find shoes that she can order in wide widths. Otherwise they're uncomfortable.

If anything, pick a color and let the girls decide what kind of shoes.
  • I agree with pp, if they are all wearing different dresses why not just let them all wear whatever shoes they want in a pre-determined colour?

  • I voted the nude ones! Not only do I love them, but they would also be something I'd wear again after the wedding, even to work!
  • i love the red ones but i voted sparkly cause im not sure the red would go well with the green
