After I got let go from my job, my best friend's stepdad said he knew of a Christian charity that could maybe use my journalism skills to help with their communication efforts. He said it could be a work-from-home type of venture (since this charity is located about 2 hours from where I live now), and it's certainly something that is more up my alley, as I would love to work for a Christian organization.
I sent him my résumé and link to my online portfolio last week, but he traveled to southern Illinois and Indiana to help with the tornado recovery, so I haven't heard from him yet.
Please pray that this opportunity works out in a way that is best for everyone.
