1.      How long have you and your FI been together? How long will you have been together when you get married? We will have been together almost three years when we get married.

3.      Have you been trying to lose weight before the wedding? Not really lose weight, but tone up. Especially my arms!

5.      What do you think about the weather this past week? Do you like the rain, or are you excited to see the sun finally starting to show? The weather in Washington DC has been doom and gloom. I'm ready for sun!

6.      Do you have any plans for either this weekend, or Memorial Day weekend? This weekend, bridal shower!! Next weekend, bridal shower!

7.      What are you looking forward to most this summer? My wedding!!!! July 3!!!!!

8.      Do you have any big trips planned? We are doing a mini-honeymoon. Still deciding on destination.

9.      If not, is there somewhere you wish you could go? Would love to go on real HM, but doing that after FI's deployment.

10.  Have you registered yet? Yup! The gifts have already started coming in.

11.  If so, what is your favorite item/item you are hoping to get most? Kitchen Aid stand mixer!!!

12.  Where did you register? Did you have to register somewhere to accommodate OOT guests? BBB, Crate and Barrel, and Pfaltzgraff. Our parents and WP are spreading the word to mail gifts to house in NC.

13.  What is your favorite place you registered at? Crate and Barrel. I love the style of their stuff!

14.  Are there any movies out/coming out that you want to see? Going with friends to see Bridesmaids and Something Borrowed. I'm a sucker for chick flicks

15.  Any you have seen recently? What did you think? Water for Elephants. Good, but book is way better!

16.  Who has been your favorite vendor to work with thus far? Why? Photographer!!! She is just awesome!!!

17.  What has been your favorite part of wedding planning thus far? Right now, Registries! I'm excited about putting together a house with FI. Stuff will no longer be mine or his, but ours!!

18.  Are you planning to do a bridesmaids luncheon before the wedding? If not when are you planning to give your WP their gifts? No luncheon. Probably at rehearsal dinner.

19.  What did you/are you getting your WP? Necklace, bottle of wine, tote bag, and still looking for other ideas! GM, FI is in charge.

We've been together since Jan 24, 2010 and will have been together 18 months when we married.

About 15 months (yep, we knew right away!)

Yes, but with some unexpected health problems exercise has been dificult so won't be the weight I wanted to be.  Frustrating but trying to accept what is.
4.      If so, what have you been doing that’s worked for you? Anything you need help with?
Proper diet and nutrition, and any exercise I can manage. Good upper arm exercises
5.      What do you think about the weather this past week? Do you like the rain, or are you excited to see the sun finally starting to show?
I am so loving the sun!  I was born and raised here so am used to the rain, and do love it sometimes....  But bring on the rays!
6.      Do you have any plans for either this weekend, or Memorial Day weekend?
This weekend getting together with my friend who is making my veil and Memorial weekend will be in Tucson with my sister/MOH and her husband/BMan.  Also finalizing some wedding plans then.
7.      What are you looking forward to most this summer?
My wedding, my honeymoon (cruise to Alaska) and being a Mrs. for the first time!  (And at 49, let me tell you that's a big deal!)
8.      Do you have any big trips planned?
Tucson in May, Alaska in July/August, and Las Vegas in September (FI birthday trip).
9.      If not, is there somewhere you wish you could go?
Hoping to go to Hawaii next year!

Yep
11.  If so, what is your favorite item/item you are hoping to get most?
Our steam/vacuum cleaner and HEPA air filter machineything.  LOL

Bed, Bath and Beyond, Target and Amazon.  All of them can work for OOTers.
13.  What is your favorite place you registered at?
Bed, Bath and Beyond - new dishes!
14.  Are there any movies out/coming out that you want to see?
The new Pirates movie!
15.  Any you have seen recently? What did you think?
Saw African Cats; like it (I'm a cat fanatic) but it was a little cheesy with it's anthropomorphic script.
16.  Who has been your favorite vendor to work with thus far? Why?
That's a hard one as one is my former sister-in-law (cake), and friends are doing my hair/MU, pictures, flowers and music.  And yes I know how lucky I am in keeping costs down. 
17.  What has been your favorite part of wedding planning thus far?
Toss-up: telling FI kids that we want them to be in the wedding (especially telling his daughter I wanted her to be a BMd).  The other is shopping with my MOH and BMd for my dress!
18.  Are you planning to do a bridesmaids luncheon before the wedding? If not when are you planning to give your WP their gifts?
Planning a get-together the day before for manicures and lunch and will give them their gifts then - the rest of the party i.e. the guys, and friends who are helping will get their gifts at RD.
19.  What did you/are you getting your WP?
MOH and BMn (married) - framed picture of Mt. Raniner, MOH, freshwater pearl necklace and earrings.  Same jewelry for BmD plus musically waterglobe.  Not sure on the rest of the party; FI is taking care off that.
20.  Any questions you have? Anything you need help with?
Just trying to figure out timing for wedding and if we have given ourselves enough time for set-up, take down, etc.  And for those who are inclined, prayers for my pianist who is on her second round of Chemo but believes she will be well enough to play (do have a back-up just in case).

We've been together for about a year and a half. Our wedding date is our 2 year anniv.
2.      How long of an engagement are you having?
tricky one. he proposed before he deployed, but we didn't tel people. so from that point about a year and a half. From the one with the ring that we have pictures of and told everyone about, about 9 months.
3.      Have you been trying to lose weight before the wedding?
Not lose weight, but tighten everything up. The wedding is great movitation, but it's not just about that. Health in general is a big focal point for me.
4.      If so, what have you been doing that’s worked for you? Anything you need help with?
I do my gym's classes. Step, Pump, Combat, and Flow are all incredible and I love going to them. The instructors know me by now so when I don't go they hold me accountable which is fantastic.
5.      What do you think about the weather this past week? Do you like the rain, or are you excited to see the sun finally starting to show?
I'm ready for sun. I usually don't mind the rain, but my backyard is pretty much all moss now and I'm dreading working on it >_<

Nope. The man is gone for a couple weeks so I don't have plans besides studying my as* off for midterms.. ugh.

having a break from school and hpoefully taking a vacation with the Fi before the wedding crazyness picks up

No. I wish. We won't get a honeymoon right away because of my school and his job. saaad story. But we do have a wedding to go to in florida this summer so maybe we can make that a big vaca trip

We probably should have because they don't have Macy's where all his family is, but we figured they would all just buy online anyway so *shrug* not that worried about it.

bridesmaids and something borrowed of course! I wanna see the new hangover movie too

no.. We did see thor though and I was surprised that I really enjoyed it!

My photographer because we just recently had our engagement shoot. She is so sweet and fun

Starting te DIY stuff is now my new favorite part... but I love seeing the FI get s involved. He had me address the STD's and he wrote the return address on them. So silly.. whatever makes him happy OH! and buying my rehearsal dinner dress last weekend with him. Smokin'

hmm.. I haven't thought about it, but I think I will. It will be hard to get all three of them together, so hopefully Ill be able to. The gifts will be given at the RD though for sure

We got the girls Tiffany & Co jewelry, and the groomsmen their favorite liquer, top shelf stuff. Haven't figured out for the parents yet.

Almost 2 years.

Trying to lose a little and tone up.

FI has been helping me weight train, and then I do cardio.  I also started doing Turbojam which I really like.

Doing a few more engagement photos on our motorcycle this weekend.  Next weekend we are going to Oregon for my cousin's wedding.

Our wedding!

Honeymooning in Jamaica, and then we are going to Disneyland in October.

Watching it all come together!  I really liked dress shopping and now accessorizing too.

My mom is hosting a BM luncheon and mani pedis the day before the wedding.  I think we are going to give our WP their gifts at the rehearsal dinner though.

FI is getting them liquor I think, I'm still deciding on the bridesmaids.

 Girls: flips from Old Navy for the reception, bracelet and necklace for the wedding, plus a unique gift: Coach wristlet, concert tickets, necklace, etc.  Oh, and I'm paying for their makeup for the wedding.
Boys: They're all getting different gifts, too ... golf gift card, concert tickets, flask, humidor, etc.

1.      How long have you and your FI been together? How long will you have been together when you get married? We have been together about 7 ½ years (We’ve kinda started to round at this point) and we will be getting married 2 days before our 8 year anni.
2.      How long of an engagement are you having? Just under a year.
3.      Have you been trying to lose weight before the wedding? Yea…I don’t know if it’s working… I should probably start measuring as opposed to relying on the scale.
4.      If so, what have you been doing that’s worked for you? Anything you need help with? I’ve been doing cardio 3-5x’s a week and pilates 2-3x’s a week. I wish I could do other stuff, but still recovering from a car accident. : /
5.      What do you think about the weather this past week? Do you like the rain, or are you excited to see the sun finally starting to show? I don’t mind the sun, but I kinda like the rain. Or atleast the clouds.

It will be 7 years in June. Still 7 in October.

15 months total, 4 to go!

Yes, well, not just for the wedding. I've successfully lost 30 pounds already, including 11 inches off of my waist, and went from a size 14 to a size 6-8. Still going down.

4.      If so, what have you been doing that’s worked for you? Anything you need help with?

I eat primal/paleo, and do low carb. It's seriously the best thing I've ever done, and I've been trying to lose weight and yo-yo'ing since I was in high school/college.

Better late, than never
1.      How long have you and your FI been together? How long will you have been together when you get married?
7 years

2.      How long of an engagement are you having?
Ours was 18 months and 17 days

3.      Have you been trying to lose weight before the wedding?
I was (and am currently trying to burn off some of the lbs. from the Honeymoon), I met my "goal weight" for the wedding.  I wish my arms were a little more toned, but happy with my overall wedding "body look."

4.      If so, what have you been doing that’s worked for you? Anything you need help with?
Stuff that worked for me:  Being engaged for a year and a half, time was a big help in losing weight, so I didn't have to crash diet.  I watched what I ate, mainly portion control, and that helped A LOT.  I also made a NY resolution to not take the elevators, and used the stairs 99% of the time, and I think that helped (I live on the 3rd floor of an apt. building).  And I took my furbaby on extra long walks/runs whenever I could.

5.      What do you think about the weather this past week? Do you like the rain, or are you excited to see the sun finally starting to show?
Umm, I wish this weather was around a couple of weeks ago... but I love the sun!  It's made transitioning from Maui weather a lot easier.

6.      Do you have any plans for either this weekend, or Memorial Day weekend?
Not that I know of, I'm trying to avoid making plans of any kind, wedding planning has made me "planning tired."

7.      What are you looking forward to most this summer?
Fun outdoorsy outings with DH and the furbaby.

Nope

I would like a mini-vacation somewhere in the San Juans or BC.

Macy's, because we'll be getting a Rewards rebate from them.

I want to see the Bridesmaids movie, and Pirates of the Caribbean

No, I haven't been to the theaters in about 2 months (we usually go every 3-6 weeks).

Jenny GG!  Everything went soooo well on the wedding day, and the photo gallery is already up on her site, just waiting to receive the CD in the mail.

Being done

We had a RD on the Thursday before the wedding (2 days before the wedding), and we gave the gifts out to the WP there. 
For a BMs "luncheon" me and my girls had drinks and snacks in the lounge at the Hotel we stayed at on Friday night, and then kicked it at the pool/hottub.

19.  What did you/are you getting your WP?

I got them gift cards to their favorite store, a bottle of their favorite booze, a tote bag with their first name on it, those SoleMates things, and a necklace.

we have to wait for our honeymoon until after deployment too really sucks because right when he gets back we'll be PCSing so I don't really know if we will actually get one honestly... Oh well that's the way it goes with the military.
