I have been thinking of you....and not in a creepy skin suit making way. But in the 'To Shoot a Mockingbird' kind of way.
There is a pair of mourning doves that have set up a nest on my patio. From what I have read, the males can be territorial, but as a whole, these birds are afraid of people. Doves co-parent, from what I have read, and someone is always on the nest (which I am taking to mean there are eggs in there).
Right now, the bird just sits on the nest and doesn't seem too concerned when I go on the patio. I am scared this is going to change when the clutch is hatched. In all honesty, I'm scared one or the both of them are going to peck my eyes out. Unfounded or not, that is my fear.
