takes place in Asheville. I kept hoping they'd show a road where the couple was panhandling. I didn't get to see the end. Do they get housing? In all the places in the US, I'm positive that Asheville would be the most helpful for getting a job. There are so many hippies, coops, and organic, locally grown fanatics I'm sure someone would give them room and board in exchange for labor. FFS.

Also, color me NOT surprised. Why do parents name their children Misty? I've never met a lawyer, doctor, or executive named Misty. Every Misty I've ever met is trailer trash or working at the Dollar store. Am I wrong?

In my experience, you are definitely not wrong.  Sad, but true.  When I've met with PhD scientists, I've never once met one named Misty.

I met a temp at a place I worked whose name was Misty Dawn Lastname. I schit you not. Misty. Fecking. Dawn.

^^She was a blob of a human being who enjoyed arguing over stupid things and mooched off her parents even though she "worked" full time.

I knew a Misty who was not TPT (trailer park trash). I knew her in college. She recieved a business degree and was moving up the corporate ladder before deciding to be a SAHM. That's the only smart Misty I've ever met, before or since.

Yes they get housing.  The guy barters work for someplace to live.
