Sadly, no pictures. I left my phone sitting on the counter at home and DH wouldn't turn around to go home and get it.
So we went to this bar. It was one of DH"s coworker's birthday, and she was there to celebrate. We got there at 4 and meandered around looking for her.
There were two age groups there that surprised me: people who brought kids (young kids) and the elderly. And by elderly I mean people in wheelchairs and hoverrounds.
It was so dang expensive. $10 to get in, beer was $6. I wasn't drinking, and in the 2 hours we were there we spend about $70 on admission, wings, and beer. There were people who had clearly been there since the morning and I couldn't imagine how expensive it was. As an adult, I guess I can justify 1 $10 glass of wine with a dinner out, but certainly not that much alcohol. I'm old. I really am.
Just lots of bad tattoos, women wearing outfits they had no business wearing, and bros.
Lots of smokers. I feel like in this day and age, smoking has been sort of made socially unacceptable but there were a ton of social smokers there. Crazy.
We left at 6 pm because I was feeling like crap and DH wasn't into spending more money.
I guess I'm old and lame, because there was no part of that whole thing that seemed like any fun. 21 yo PMeg would have been totally into it, but 30 yo PMeg thinks the idea of drinking overpriced Budlight in a tent while sloppily making out with a guy is no fun.
