60-inch-round tables seat how many?

We have round tables that are 60 inches across. They seat up to 10, but I'm wondering if that's comfortable or maximum. Better to seat 8 at each? Any experiences??

60" tables seat 8 comfortably and 10 is borderline cramped. 72" tables seat 10 people comfortably.

Our facility said that they could fit 10 if necessary, but 8 was their preference so that it wouldn't be quite as crowded.
