FI found us a DJ. All by himself. I'm so proud of him! I'm still in shock. This is the same guy who sticks his head in the sand every time I bring up wedding details. I'm working at a summer camp right now, so I don't have time to make many calls to wedding vendors (and the calls are now long distance). I told FI he needed to call some Djs, thinking he would put it off. Then an hour later he emails me with all the info about the DJ he just hired.

Awesome! Haha FI asked me last night do I trust him because I haven't really left any decisions just up to him because every time I try to get his opinion its either 'that's fine' or 'whatever it doesn't matter' but it DOES matter to me that's why I ask. They basically told me I dont have any control over the reception meal. Not choosing plates or cups or anything because his parents offered to pay but if I don't have a choice I don't want them to help. I don't want red solo cups and paper plates. Which is what his Dad would choose. I had a minor meltdown. So that's why he asked if I trust him to handle it. Well NO because you already said you don't care what kind of cups and plates we have. This started at FIL's and we went home and finished because I got so upset I was crying.

Yahooo! Thats so awesome! My fiance basically proposed and followed it up with: "I don't want to help plan, its your day so plan how you want." Which could be good and bad. Now I'm wishing he would take a few things on his own, lol.

I totally know how it feels because when I kept nagging at FI to get the groomsmen in for the tuxes he kept putting it off and putting it off. Then one day he says that he has all the groomsmen rounded up to go on the following Saturday to get fitted. My mouth dropped because I couldn't even get all my BM's together to go on one day. They all went on their own w/o me which really sucked because I wanted it to be a day where all my BM's could meet.

I really don't believe it, he just told me he and his brother already bought their suits. And at a 2 for 1 special to boot. Who is this man and what has he done with my fiance?!??!!?!??!?
