Can anyone recommend a reasonably priced hair and makeup artist that will travel to location?  My wedding is in Silver Spring.  Everything I am finding seems very expensive.

 She was awesome at my trial and will travel on location. She also referred me to some great hair stylists she works with. Still waiting to decide on hair, though.

I am using Amber from Make-up Memories. She is based in Annapolis, and she is wonderful. She also has a hair stylist that she recommends, who is fantastic, too!

They'll travel for a fee, I think smaller if you hire them both, and their prices are reasonable and comparable to others in the area for a superior service.

I used KC Felton for makeup and two hair styles on my wedding day. She was fantastic. Her website is The Elegant Artisan.

I do NOT recommend Carola Myers. I had a terrible, terrible trial experience with her and the girl she hires to do hair. DH said my hair looked like a sloppy Little House on the Prairie episode and Carola never showed (only called 90mn after the scheduled appt time) to the trial to do my makeup. She still had the nerve to request payment! Avoid, avoid, avoid.
