Outdoor wedding venues

I am looking for a nice place to hold my ceremony and reception outside in GA in the fall of this year.  Something that won't kill my budget and will allow alcohol.  Thinking of a harvest/country type theme so anything from plantation house to a farm will probably do.  About 50-100 people probably coming.  Any suggestions?  All input is appreciated, I'm overwhelmed at this point and fighting the urge to elope in the mountains!

Piedmont Park?  Try doing a vendor search on the knot and wedding wire.  Also do a google search as well.

I personally love my venue.  They're called Gala Events Facility.  Located in Marietta, almost on the verge of Atl. They're decently priced, you can bring in your own liquor. They have a nice outdoor area for the wedding and an indoor area where we're holding the reception because it's an early evening wedding on Oct 9th so it could possibly be a little chilly by the time the reception rolls around.  The place is newly renovated and decorated quit nicely, especially for a fall wedding.  Gold tones, oranges, etc.  Nothing overly eccentric or gaudy (I'm a very minimalistic type girl, personally).  www.galafacility.com  Check them out.  The lady that runs the place in incredibly nice and we ended up negotiating with the caterer she hosts but you are welcome to use anyone you want :)

I have a friend getting married in a barn I think in Madison GA.  I will try and find out the name and post. You might could do a google search for barns in Madison and see if it pops up.  They let you bring whatever and I think are inexpensive. But they have hosted several weddings at that venue.

The barn Shof is talking about is Farm House Inn.

You could check out the Roswell River Landing
or Castle of Paradise in Griffin, GA
Also, search for local state parks or city facilities you could use (they are typically cheaper than traditional "wedding" venues) For example, I was looking at the Smyrna community center - they have a gazebo you can use outside and several large rooms you can use for indoor reception. The rental is under $1000... i ended up going another route... but definitely check out city/government facilities in your area!

You may want to look at Peach Brandy Cottage in Dawsonville. The banquet hall was once a big barn, and they do let you bring in your own alcohol. The gardens there are amazing. http://PeachBrandyCottage.com
