Amy's Unique Cakes

We used Amy for our wedding last Saturday and I just want to give her a quick A freaking plus. The cake looked so perfect that I had 2 people ask me if it was a box. It was breathtaking. As soon as I have pictures back I'll share. The cake flavor was also spot on. It was really great- we did a layer of marble/cream, strawberry cake/lemon and red velvet/chocolate ganache. I would recommend Amy to all brides and it really helps that her prices are very affordable.

I would give her a freaking F.  The wedding cake we just got from her fell apart at the reception and she is not taking any ownership for it.  The only thing she took was our money.  The flavors were wrong, the cake top fell to the floor, the topper broke and I have never heard from her again although our email was working just fine when we were coordinating the purchase.  Big F for Amy Bruntz and AmysUniqueCakes.   Stay far, far away.

OK well since I have been talked about alot on this site I thought I would just give my side to each of these ladies cakes that have had nothing but horrible things to say. I do have to say first off I am not perfect but I will say this I did give Kelly and Matt the 150.00 back so to say that I didn't give the money back is not being truthful. There was an issue with a particular supply that I received from my vendor, my vendor has taken the responsibility of the mess and has discontinued this product from certain production dates if that makes sense. Plus with the cake I would have loved to stay and make it even more presentable but the venue wasn't too helpful in that aspect. I do stand behind what I provide as a wedding cake. And for this second ladies review (Clare Wise) I would love to send the picture of the cake that she actually got and the mock up we made of her cake. There wasn't anything wrong with the cake when I had left. The venue was extremely hot and for a topsy turvey cake and well it is mentioned on the back of my contract that you must have an ideal tempature of no more than 75 degrees there is a reason I put all that info on the back PLEASE READ!! I have offered to return some of her money for the topper and the turning thing since she is claming that the cake did fall apart but she wouldn't answer any of my emails until I finally emailed her daughter *which is the one who got married* I spent alot of time to perfect her cake and like I said I am more than willing to share this picture with anyone. Now all she is doing is devaluing me as a person and a wedding cake baker. I do have to say one more thing (imagine that) I have been doing cakes now for over 8 years and these are the first two ladies that I have ever had any trouble with I do have many references that I would love to share like Cecilia above. (Thanks again for an awesome review!!) Some people just like to ruin other peoples lives and love to make it sound worse than it actually is.Thanks for listening to me vent

I am looking for a cake baker for my wedding and was given a card for Amy from a florist. I always look up reviews for everything I choose. To see 2/3 bad reviews I will be staying away from this baker without even a consultation. Sorry.
