FI and I will be married by the Justice of the Peace on January 2, 2012 but we will not have our wedding reception until July 28, 2012. The reasoning for this space is because my baby sister is getting married May 5, and I do NOT want to take the focus off of her and her big day.
Has anyone else done this? I'm wondering how awkward this will be for everyone.
