So, um, yeah... remember the other day when you were talking about the other boards and mean knotties - I've just had my own real life encounter... I just happened to be over at the E board and got eaten alive just by asking about photographers. I got chewed out for spelling something wrong and if I really am a teacher I better "check myself". (Can I help it that I get excited when I talk about my wedding and type really fast and sometimes make errors?!) Then I was told that yes, I was too picky and that was probably my problem. Apparently I need to change my attitude..... my how I love the support over there!

Needless to say, I will stick to your advice and stay where the nice knotties are...*sigh* I'm back home now...and this is where I'll stay

I defintiely look around and comment on other boards.  But, you do have to be careful about what you say, some boards more than others.  There is a lot of helpful advice out there too.  I usually stick with the more meaningful topics like DIY, Paper & Invites, Attire, Receptions, DW, etc.

Yeah, I just plain deleted it and moved on  hahaha I figured they seemed to care more about being nasty than providing suggestions

Hey Rosey, they are talking about the Etiquette Board. I don't understand it either.

But, Teach, I had my own bad experience with the E board and I know exactly how you feel. Don't let it get you down. We are all here for support

Sorry to hear this TeachLib!  The E and SB boards can be rough....and what's even sadder is that the mods of BOTH boards are in kahootz with the rest of 'em, so you will never get anywhere with any of them.  They jump alllllll over anyone that mispells or changes their opinion about something or calls out a regular.  Like they can jump all over people but if a newb comes in and calls them out, its like an all out war against the nkotb.  It's basically adult bullying and it's very very sad. 

I can gurantee you 100% that if I popped up on either board, they would all go ape-shiit....I am very serious about that too.  They didn't like the fact that I was so bubbly and friendly and when I got called out, I stood my ground and didn't take their crap.  They didn't like that too much.  There are 2 posters that still stick out to me....God help 'em if I ever make it to a tranny-bar in Boston, lol.

Stay here with us....we luuuvvvvzzzzz you and will give all the advice you need....in a friendly way too!

OMG, they are soooo mean on the other boards.  I thought I was just too sensitive at first and deleted the comment everyone rudely commented on, but when I found out they were mean to to OBX2011, I just about lost it.  Seriously?  Who gets off on being mean to other brides?  Errrr.
