Hi Everyone,

I am fairly new to this site, as we just got engaged on Valentines Day, but we are also lucky enough to have been chosen as 1 of 10 couples to win a $10 000 Dream Wedding.
Our local vendors in Chatham Kent, On have put together an amazing prize and we need your support to help us win !

We were asked to write an essay on why we deserve to win our dream wedding and we have from March 1-24th to have friends, family & everyone who can to vote for us. (We are couple #2)

    Nice to meet you and congrats on the engagement.  

    Usually you wouldn't ask your fellow knotties to help you out without knowing you first...as this is your first post, maybe you should first make an effort to get to know us!

    thanks for the reply, i am new to the community boards, and don't know many people.
    The planning has been going well, although it can be very overwhelming with all the details & choices.
    I can't say that I've always had a clear picture in my mind of what i've wanted but this site has been such a HUGE help !
    How has your planning going, have you chosen your reception venue ?

    The Knot is a great help - lots of inspiration!  If you go on the Canada general board we all have the links to our bios and you can see where we all are in the planning process.  My wedding is in August so the big stuff is done!

    You have lots of time so don't stress yet - are you from Toronto specially our just outside?

    Thanks for the info, I will check that out.
    I am from Chatham, Ontario. About 2 hrs south of Toronto. Its a smaller town so its a little harder to find venue  & vendor information online. Thats another reason i love this site for ideas i would normally not have access to.
    Are you from Toronto ? Have you decided on your Honeymoon yet ?
