Hair & makeup suggestions needed!

Hello ladies! I need some recommendations for hair and makeup... I've inquired with Destiny and Light and Valerie Schneider already. Valerie is already booked on my wedding day and I'm waiting to hear back from Destiny. I've also looked into Michele Renee but not too thrilled that she charges $75 for a trail run (since all the others I've looked at do a complimentary one for the bride...esp.since I'm on a budget!). Any other recommendations or feedback on Destiny and Light and/or Michele Renee would be great! Thanks!

I used D&L and just posted my review on the board. I'm surprised to hear that you've found free trials with all the ones you've contacted. I haven't heard of that before. All the ones I contacted charged for trials. Otherwise if you don't book with them it would be a waste of their time and resources. Even the mall places make you purchase a minimum.

I am booked with Michele Renee and had my trial this weekend. Yes, I did pay $75 for it, but it was definitely worth it. I booked her a week before my engagement photo shoot and wanted to coinside the trial with it because I didn't want to feel like I was wasting the $75. Even though I was last minute, Michele herself got up super early to do it first thing Saturday morning. My engagement photos were not until 3pm and I was afriad my hair would fall out by then. So Michele arranged for another artist that works with her to meet me in Orlando (where my e-pics were taken) and fix it the way I wanted (which was differnt that I'm doing for my wedding and from the trial) for FREE! My makeup stayed from 7am until I went to bed that night, and the only think I had to touch up was my lip gloss. Her service was amazing and I highly recommend her.

Darla Stafford did my makeup for my wedding! She is so nice and my makeup looked flawless! My mom's shoe broke right before the ceremony and she fixed it for her.
