Farm/Ranch Wedding San Diego Area

Hi! I'm trying to find a wedding venue for my Fall 2012 wedding in San Diego county. I'm in love with the idea of getting married on a farm/ranch, but I am open to similar suggestions (homes for rent, estates, etc.) ... To give you an idea, this is a place I LOVE but I think it's just a little too far for all my guests to drive.. http://farmhouseinnjulian.com/ .
We are expecting 80-100 guests and I have a minimal budget.. Also, if the venue let you bring your own beer & wine/food/etc.. that would be a big bonus! I have googled and googled but I keep coming up empty handed...
Thank you!

Hi Mandy! I have a fabulous suggestion for you. :) A good friend of mine was married at the Los Penasquitos Ranch House which is off of Black Mountain Road (general area is 15 fwy and Scripps Poway Pkwy). I think the feel is very similar to the Julian link you mentioned. I believe that the venue holds up to 100 people and can be rented in 3 hour increments at $300 per 3 hours. I photographed my friend's wedding so if you'd like to see some photos click here: http://laurachristinphotography.com/blog/weddings/kate-ben-los-penasquitos-ranch-house-wedding/

The website for the County doesn't really have wedding or event photos on it. It rained on my friend's wedding day so they had to move all of the reception tables up under the awning on the porch and the ceremony indoors. The original plan was to have all of the tables for the reception in the courtyard where you see the photos of the tables up on the patio and her ceremony was going to be down by the white barn. It's a really beautiful spot and I believe you can bring in whatever caterer you want - I think you can do the food on your own, even. (they did picnic baskets from Whole Foods) and your own alcohol which is a big bonus!

You probably found Leo Carillo Ranch. That is a beautiful spot in Carlsbad and I believe you are welcome to bring in your own caterer but must be an actual caterer. Not sure about alcohol.

    Good Luck! :)

Skyline Ranch Weddings is a site in Jamul I think.

Condor Nest Ranch....Leo Carillo......Mt. Woodson Castle maybe?  It's kind of rustic-y.

Condor Nest might be a great idea as someone mentioned.  Leo Carillo ranch in coastal north county is also something you might want to check out.  I have also heard Hidden Valley Ranch is good but haven't seen it myself.

Have you checked out Quail Haven Farm in the Vista/Bonsall area in North County?  Very reasonably priced and is brand new for 2012.  You can bring in your own food and vendors and they have a beautiful old red & white barn and the reception pavilion is a converted horse corral.  The pics on the website are from last year when they were doing the upgrades, but the ceremony garden is lovely and there is plenty of room.  website address is www.weddingsatquailhavenfarm.com
    Totally worth a visit

It might be our yard you're referring to - It is only available for family.  Best wishes.
