I know that this was brought up last week?? but I'm too lazy to go back and find the post...

FI isn't helping me here in the music department...So, we're not having the normal WP announcement right before dinner because the WP will be at the last half of cocktail hour, so no need to gather them up & have them be announced when they'll be placed in their seats...

FI & I are going to be announced & right afterwards we're cutting the cake...I want something fun, upbeat & songs that FI & I like...He did say what he doesn't want though: Black Eyed Peas, or LMFAO (even though thats what I would like)....FI listens to heavy metal, but I don't think our guests would appreciate that...so....I like the song Gimme that Girl by Joe Nichols...but idk...

Soooo: What song is everyone walking into?  What music are you cutting your cake to?

I'm not sure yet about the cake cutting song. We are also cutting our cake right after we enter the reception, so I think The Four Tops -Sugar Pie Honey Bunch would follow our Intro song pretty well.

We haven't made any decisions about what music we will be using yet.  FI and I have differing opinions in music.... so I'm not looking forward to those decisions.

We're walking in to 'Good Life' by One Republic. I think I'd like to cut the cake to 'Honey Bee' by Blake Shelton, but we haven't talked about it much yet.

We are planning to sit down in April when FI is on Spring Break and we'll be back in the states together for some planning. As of now, I have no clue! 

I mostly like alternative music, but I am open to kind of anything at the wedding since I know not a lot of our guests share my taste in music.
