Wendy's rant

Soo upset right now! So today Wendy's bridal calls me to tell me that my cyrstal belt is in for my dress. Then, not 5 minutes later the girl calls back and says "I have really bad news for you. When I looked up your belt I noticed that we didnt order your Bridesmaids dress."  Apparently they were waiting on one more bridesmaid that I told them MULTIPLE times was not ordering from them bc she was getting her dress in New York. (I seriously told them this like 4 times, bc they asked every time I was up there)

So now, Im 82 DAYS away from my wedding and the dresses (now being rushed shipped) will be here right before. so they are screwed if they need alterations.

ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh (sorry I just needed to vent)

This is why I refused to order from Wendy's. I have purchased formals from them in the past and they are terrible at sizing, usually very late and you have to hound them to get them in. Seriously you should keep on them to make sure they were actually rushed. I ordered a dress from them 3 mos prior to an event, they stated it was 6 week lead time and I got it two days prior to the event. I had to pay almost the cost of the dress for rush alterations.
Good luck -- hopefully you will have better luck than I did with them.

I'm so sorry for this.  That really is unfair.  It's not like you should have to babysit them to make sure they got it right!  And those that do call often to make it right are given a bad name like bridezilla.

I've noted your experience for if ever I step inside a Wendy's store. :)

I would tell them that you need a discount off of each dress.  It's rediculous how much bridesmaids dresses cost and then them not order them.  Just remember everything will work out in the end.

I agree- ask for a discount. I just recently got my dresses in from them and believe it or not one didn't fit. It was TWO SIZES too small due to the girls' large breasts. When she went in to tell them. They made her pay 25 dollars to send it back and order the right size. IM SUPER annoyed because they even admitted that they messed up and misordered. The dress was already paid in full and it was their mistake, but they refused to budge. I REFUSE to get my alterations there now or anything else I need for that matter! SO annoyed. Sorry- I saw your post and just HAD to vent.
