I watch alot of wedding shows and every bride says they have been dreaming of their wedding day since they was 5 year-old. I've been dreaming about my wedding since I was 23 year old. lol What about you?

I remember playing "brides" with my sisters, and I think I was a bride once for Halloween, but it was always a pretend thing, not a "this is what I want at MY wedding" thing. I never seriously thought about my wedding, probably until my first friend got married when I was 22 or so.

i have been with my fi a long time, so i have been thinking about my wedding since probably my late teens into 20s.

I've been thinking about my wedding since I can remember!  In my human sexuality class in high school one of our projects were to plan our weddings.  It was sooo much fun!!!  My taste has definitely changed since then...the only 2 things that were the same in my project is my taste in jewelry & flowers! teehee!!

I'd say i've been thinking about it only maybe a year or so before we got engaged (so for about 2 years i guess) I'm a huge girly girly so it's suprising to ppl i know that i havent been planing it since i was 6 hehe

Even though FI and I have been together over 5 years and always knew we'd get married, I really didn't think of the wedding itself much until we actually got engaged.

I remember not caring when I was little, then in my teens, I more imagined my married life, but not necessarily the wedding. Now that I've found the guy I want to marry, I think about it all the time. Even when I was engaged before, I think I knew I didn't want to marry him so I blocked it out. haha

I remember talking about weddings and such in middle school.  Back in the day me and my best friend were dating two boys who were besties and I remember in our 13 year old minds we thought we'd marry them and have a double wedding haha.

I put early teens. But remember I'm only 24 and FI and I met and started dating as teenagers. I started really thinking about it because even though we were young I knew I wanted to marry him.

I've wondered what it'd be like to marry when I was with my ex, but not the wedding itself until I was with my FI. Probably didn't think about it until after 2 years of dating (we've been together for 5 1/2 years). I didn't think it'd be this exciting to plan a wedding!!

I hadn't really thought much about what my wedding would be like because I didn't want to make a big deal out of it.  I knew it would be small and I thought it would be at a barn or historic house but things completely changed.

I never cared about a wedding until I was with FI.

I never dreamed of a wedding or getting married up until I was in my 20s.  Then i did get married (thankfully that is over).

Long story short - I have changed my views on marriage/weddings 180 due to certain life experiences.

As for a wedding event, I only started to dream of a wedding once FI and I were dating.

Same here! And when I started to reconsider I thought I would have a small intimate wedding.

My ex always thought we'd get married (he bought a Christmas ornament with our names on it and said "I can't wait to show to this our grandkids someday"...I broke it off about 3 weeks later), so I thought about it some then, but didn't really envision MY wedding until I started dating FI...which was when I was still a teenager, so I put that.
