SPA's in CT?

Hi girlies!

So, I love my step-FMIL. She is so sweet and has been there for me more than my own mother. Anyway, I want to plan a day trip in CT to a nice SPA and dinner at a nearby restaurant. I'm open to any suggestions you girls may have.

TIA!

The spa at the Heritage Hotel in Southbury is very nice. They will put you in a private room looking over a garden and bring lunch in for you. I can't remember the name of it, but if you google it you will fine it easy enough.

I loved the Elemis Spa at Mohegan, and I've heard great things about the G Spa that Kim mentioned at MGM Grand.

Theres Norwich Inn and Spa Norwich CT, Elizabeth Arden Red Door Spa Groton CT, Saybrook Point Inn and Spa Old Saybrook, Mohegan and Foxwoods each have spas as well. There are resturants in each place. Groton has the Octagon Steakhouse...yummy!

My mother and I go to the Norwich Inn and Spa every once in a while. It's a really nice getaway. It's extremely classic, old fashioned service. You seriously feel like you've stepped back in time. It's a very nice place. The restaurant there is very expensive, but it is good. The only thing I don't like about them is the beds in the inn. Hardest beds you'll ever sleep on, which is weird for a spa! Feel free to PM with any questions about it!

I've also heard a lot of wonderful things about Elizabeth Arden Spa in Groton, but haven't ever been there. Good luck!

I would reccomend where I work which is The Saybrook Point Inn and Spa. I've also worked at the Norwich Inn and Spa and its amazing as well. To be honest and I probably shouldn't say it because i work at the Saybrook Point.. I would go to Norwich Inn before I would go to Saybrook Point. Norwich Inn is a nice big spa and they have plenty of fun accomodations that would really make your day trip absolutely wonderful and memorable

I also have to add that Saybrook Point does have Spa packages that include treatments and lunch that you can either have delivered to the spa or you can come down to the restaurant and enjoy. Either way.. great time
