    My mom got hers from Dillards.  It was in the dresses section online and it's a "separate".  It's a pretty beaded top and those loose flowy pants. I have no idea what FMIL is wearing.

    Both our parents live in Miami so my Mom and FMIL went to a special bridal boutique near them and found something they loved.. before that they tried DB, Alfred Angelo and other bridal shops.

    Both my Mom and FMIL ended up finding dresses they liked at Dillards and got great prices on them.

    My Mom got hers from JcPenny.  My FMIL I believe has a black (yes you heard me right ladies) black dress that she hasn't worn and would love to wear it to our wedding (I am secure in how she feels about me).  If she doesn't wear the black dress she will be coming down Thanksgiving and we will be going to look at DB for a yellow dress if she decides not to do the black dress.

    My mom has already purchased not one, but TWO different outfits...she said she will just choose when it gets closer...I think one is JCPenny and the other is speigel....FMIL hasn't even started shopping...

    tink - my mom is wearing black (well, black with silver accents). She was originially trying to find something different because she was worried about what people would think, but I finally convinced her that black is a great color, and she looks great in her dress. And my dad is wearing a black vest and tie with his tux, so they'll look great together. FMIL was also concerned about the whole black thing, and we never convinced her otherwise, so she found a dress that is a dark rust color, which goes well with our fall theme, so it all works out :-)

    There's a pic in my planning bio of my mom's dress--she found it at Dillard's. Not sure where MIL got hers.

    I looked online at a lot of the traditional MOB dresses.  When I found a few that I liked (they were all Jade by Jasmine), I looked locally for a store that carried that line.  Went in, tried them on to decide on size and color, and then I ordered through Pearl's Place.

    My mom refuses to shop until January. My FMIL is borrowing something from a friend. I todl them both I dont care what they wear as ong as they show up, are comfortable, and aren't wearing all black or white LOL. Mom said she is going to go to the department stores...oh well
