Cake Toppers & Guest Book

What type of cake toppers are you using? I can't decide what kind I want to use...flowers, monogram, figurine.... not sure. Also, are you using a traditional guest book? There are so many creative ideas out there & I can't make up my mind haha

I am too early in the process to really know for sure but I really think I want a monogram cake topper. Let me know what you decide.

I decided on no cake topper. The upper tier of my cake will have our monograms and I just didn't want to make it too busy. We are having our wedding in New Orleans, so our guest book is going to be a coffee table New Orleans photography book. Other ideas could be a book of your engagement photos or even a big photo of the two of your where guests can sign around the border.

We are going to use flowers since the top tier of the cake is going to already have our monogram on it. I think it will be a nice touch! Also, we are going to get a photobooth, so the guestbooks will be plain and the guests can glue the pics they took in the booth and then write a little something next to it!

We used a blingy monogram as our cake topper and just did a regular guest book.

those are both areas my mom felt strongly about and FI and I didn't.  Both were pretty traditional.  Mom bought us a lladro as part of our wedding gift to go as the cake topper - its a bride and groom lladro.

we're using a figurine for our cake topper, and a book of our engagement pictures as our guest book.

I considered doing something more creative at my RD b/c I couldn't decide....and then I just changed my mind!  We did also have some pig pics out for people to sign.  Did those at the RD and at the wedding.

We are u using a "blingy" monogram as our cake topper. As for the guest book, I can't decide either. I'd love to make a book of our e-pics...but I'm not that crafty.

RLBlack - I used Blurb, and used their templates. All you have to do is drag and drop your photos, so its super easy, and it turned out great. Definitely check them out (or mypublisher or snapfish or mpix) if you wanna make a book with your epics.

I plan to use a monogram cake topper.  For the guest book, I plan to make a coffee table type of book of our e-pix and have guests sign that.

thanks girl for all of the great ideas! i haven't decided on my topper yet, but i do think i'm going to have a picture book of our e-pics for the guest book then guests can sign around them. i'm also going to have one of my bridal portraits framed and have guests sign that too. jackx - i'm putting a lladro figurine next to my cake. my mom has collected lladro since i was a little girl and she's buying one for me for the wedding...that will start my collection
