Last night- I couldn't even catch up

So I don't know what really happened!(I have a question about the bottom line of this) - so, someone lied about their wedding so that we can all be referred to their vendors so they can have major discounts?Sorry if I'm completely off!

    I know!!  I don't really know what happened either.  I am going to go back and try to figure it out, but if anyone wants to provide the cliff notes version, be our guest. (not sure anyone does at this point with all the drama, but...;-)

    evidently Michi told people to mention her name to her vendors, and she ended up getting discounts because of it. I don't know who proved it or how, but that's the basic story.

    Millenia- Yes, Michi was the moderator but I think Courtney is now that Michi's wedding is over.  I didn't see the orig post but I just went back and read the comments other knotties made after the now infamous post was deleted.  I still feel that Michi should be given the opportunity to defend herself.  All I know is, being an OOT bride, I have relied VERY HEAVILY on these boards for recs and advice that comes from personal experience.  I would not have been able to plan our wedding without these boards and the awesome knotties!  I believe that most of the brides on here are truly genuine and want to to help others with their plans.  It's all part of the fun of being a bride, right?

    Glitrgrl,Thanks for the info. I second your opinion on needing these So. FL. knot girls' advice. I am only going on advice from here since I'm planning my wedding from hundreds of miles away. How can I trust just a random catering/flower company that I googled? Can't do it!Much love to all of the time taken to give us advice on here :)

    Basically, Michi was vendor pushing for her own agenda to get free stuff. She said her parents "gifted her stuff" when it was all a lie. It is proven. People are just waiting for her to get back and then the proof will be shown. She also got people kicked off for being a vendor when she herself was a vendor. That's basically it in a nutshell.
