Wedding colors & season??

I have a question regarding wedding colors and the season. I am having a fall wedding, but I do not like fall colors. I know at the end of the day it's my day and my choice, but does it look bad if I pick colors that aren't "fall" colors?

I'm getting married in November and our colors are teal, silver and pink champagne. I didn't care if they matched the season or not, they matched us! Besides, we live in Florida, seasonal colors are totally different for us than the traditional seasonal colors.
  • 100% agree with the PP about living in FL and fall colors. It doesn't matter here!

I'm getting married October 27th and my FI hates fall colors too. We choose silver and a few shades of purple :)

The most important part is that your colors compliment your venue...

  • Not at all! I would suggest to pick colors which will best compliment the decor of your venue. Recently, I saw a wedding which the wedding colors were pastels washed out due the yellow walls and black curtains of the venue.

I am a November bride and we picked burnt orange, red, yellow, and ivory accents for our wedding. FI and I love the fall and the warm colors but we didn't want red to be our main color so we went with the orange.

Dark Purple looks nice for a fall wedding :)

  • We are getting married in October and we are using blue and white. I don't think that it really matters what your colors are.
