Rent the Runway Review Edit

Hi ladies!!! :)  I'm not sure if you all read my Rent the Runway vendor review after I got married a week ago...I basically bashed them for sending me the wrong bracelet for my wedding (black instead of silver..HUGE mistake).  Well, even though I didn't get to wear the bracelet I wanted to and there's no turning back, after writing them an email to let them know how disappointed I was with what happened, I received a wonderful and very apologetic PHONE CALL today from one of their execs to let me know how sorry they were for what had happened.  The girl (Emily) stayed on the phone with me for quite a while and assured me that she'd spoken to her Operations Manager and the Accessories Manager to ensure this doesn't happen again.  Moreover, she refunded my bracelet rental and gave me a promo code for a free rental (which I will probably be using for my baby shower!)!! So, like I said, there's no turning back, but these ladies really went above and beyond trying to remedy this situation and their efforts are really appreciated.  :)  Just wanted to let you all know...considering their response and terrific customer service, I think they're definitely worth another shot. :)

    WOW, that's awesome.  What a miracle that you get a call back, most companies don't bother.  But it's so great that they went above and beyond for you.  So nice of them.  Hopefully all works well with your free rental!

    Hi! just wanted to share that something similar happened to me with RTR. I rented my shower's dress from them and they totally screwed the order by sending me 2 dresses of the same size which was my back up size which didnt fit! They have  called me the day before to tell me that my size 8 was defective and they wanted to replace it with another size 8 of whatever model I wanted and also promised to send me a beautiful neckless to go with the dress for my trouble. Well the neckeless never made it to my office and they sent me 2 size 6 dreses one of which was so ugly I wouldnt have rented it (it was not the one I asked for as replacement) Safe to say I was furious bc I had nothing to wear for my shower (outside US) the next day. I had to rush to forever XXI to get a last minute dress that luckly fit me very well. Anyway I already had another order for my RD, so they refunded the wrong order AND the one for the RD AND are supposed to send me 2 dresses in 2 sizes each free of charge for the RD. Let's see if thet comply. Just in case, I have bought a back up dress!

    Wonderful. Glad they fixed it. They at least have good customer service.

    Wow, that really is great. You see, these are the type of company that you know take pride in their business. Thats good news. Congrats!
