Catan's dress issue

So I found my dress!  Good news, right?   I found it at Catan's but they only had a sample in Ivory to try on, but I wanted to try it on in white.  I called the Alfred Angelo store down in Boardman to see if they had it in white (considering it was an Alfred Angelo dress).  They informed me that the dress was discontinued and that there were only 2 more dresses left in the national warehouse and that Catan's shouldn't even have it on their floor anymore.  UGH!!  So now I am heart broken.  I feel like I was led on my Catan's.  So now I am treking  an hour down to Boardman to see what they can do for me.  I am not happy.

What did Catan's say when you asked THEM about ordering? Did they act like they could order it no problem (if you wanted to buy)?

Which dress?  Maybe we can find it on craigslist new, or online somewhere else. I'm sure I'm not the only industrious web bride around this board...  And, the advantage to buying it resold online is it'll be cheaper, so you'll have more budget to spend on something else!

Yes, when I asked Catan's they said they could get it in any color, any size.  However, they never checked in their computer, so I may have gotten another answer if they had done this.
