Need venue rec's

Hi everyone!I am looking for a venue that is unique that serves food. We are looking at a guest list of 100 or less.We are looking somewhere in the range of $85-125 pp with liquor. We would like to keep it around 15k for a minimum. I am open to some unique restaurants as well.We would like to stay downtown or in the city but willing to look at nearby suburbs. But that is really only a last resort.Is this even possible? If you could point me in the right direction that would be great. Thank you!

    ones i can think of might bepazzos 311mart plaza holiday inn (don't let the name fool you!)white pines (not downtown though)gallery 1028maggianosand a lot of restaurants have a side room you can rent out and have great pacakges i noticed when i was looking around!

    If your last resort is the burbs, check out Meson Sabika in Naperville, they have a lot of Spanish Tapas food, and the atmosphere is fun.  I almost planned mine there... but I booked something else the day before I had the appt. there.

    I would recommend Michigan Shores Club in Wilmette--a little north of the city but unique setting, great food and well within your budget.

    The Allerton Hotel on Chicago & Huron. It's an old hotel & has excellent food & I think they have good packages for weddings.It's worth checking out, plus they have great views of the city from the top floor.  There's a nice 3rd floor ballroom though too that might be a good size for 100 guests.

    embassy suites lakefront is within your range. (not the one on state...this one is on illinois and columbus) it's much prettier.
