Save-the-Dates & Invitation Vendors?

We are hoping to order our Save-the-Dates next week and send them out as soon as we get them since we are getting married in less than 7 months!

I am considering using an email/electronic STD but my FI wants the traditional paper and envelope. If we go with the paper STDs, do you gals have vendor suggestions?

Should I order the STDs from the same place I order my invitations?  I'm not ready to order the Invitations yet though because I don't have all the wedding details and don't want to delay the STDs.  I've seen Something Blue mentioned on the boards. Any paper vendor suggestions?

I used www.weddingpaperdivas.com to crank out some cute tropical theme save the date cards last month.   They were certainly quick.  I think I ordered them on a Monday and they were on the front door step on Thursday (and I hadn't paid for expedited shipping).

    We made postcards from moo.com.

I designed magnets and printed them on vistaprint.com. They also print cards... It's non wedding directed so stuff is super cheap.

We attached the magnets to note cards and put them in envelopes that came together from target...

I also used Wedding Paper Divas, but I didn't go for the tropical look.  Our wedding is full of color, so I got some really cute STD's with poofs of color all over them.  I intended to get the matching invitations, but then I won free invites on another site so I went with those.  Gotta love free!

I made my own postcards (saves on postage), and had Office Depot print and cut them on glossy cardstock. Came to like $0.80/STD, which left me with lots more $ for nice invites.

I used magnetstreet.com to do our destination save the dates. They were quick & easy to use. We chose to do the postcard route as well...definitely great in saving postage.

We went the postcard route as well.  I ordered a bunch of vintage-esque hawaii postcards at islandartcards.com and then printed clear matte labels to stick on the back with the STD info.  It worked out really well, saved on postage, and allowed me to put off a decision on what the invitations would look like (we sent our STDs out almost 10 months pre-wedding).  I believe there are pics of the STDs in my bio.

mygatsby.com is another online option for paper products - that is where we got the printed elements of our invites (we ordered the pockets and backing paper from other vendors and assembled them ourselves).

Although we did not send any STD cards as we are sending our invitations out early so that we can confirm our vendors, I really like minted.com for STD cards. You can put your picture on it and they look really clean and nice quality. My friend used them for hers and I was really impressed :)
