Anyone used "The Pros" photography/videography before?

I went to their showcase and they seemed great, great prices, great pictures. Anyone know anyone that has used them before?

Ditto pp. Run far away. This is a case of "too good to be true".We went to one of their showcases too. Then it all went downhill from there.

We set up a meeting with them and they sent some sales lady. It is true you do not geet to meet your photog. We decided things sounded fishy so we went with a photog. that we could meet and feel comfortable with. Their prices are not even that good. We decided to go with Jenni from Forever-Yesterday.

I've heard that their videography isn't terrible, but steer FAR away from the photographers.  A friend of my husband used them and they missed very key shots... like the bride with her parents.  My cousin used them and while I don't know of any shots that were missed, the photos were completely uninspired and boring.  They had two shooters and yet, no one got my cousin (the groom) reacting to his bride's entrance to the chapel... and it was a GREAT reaction.  There's no excuse for at least one of the photographers to have not gotten that, not in my opinion.

my friend just used them in june.  i know she likes the video but i don't know how she likes her pictures. i asked her and she just said their okay... like she was disappointed. she gave me her event id so i could look at the pictures online..... i hate to say this but i really didn't like them.  they were just pictures, no creative edge to them.

ditto everyone else. I saw them and got their info at a showcase and when we were having trouble picking a photog in our price range FI kept telling me to pick those people. Something in my gut told me to steer clear. I did set up an appointment to make FI happy. They canceled on me twice and it was just a sales lady. I decided from then on screw them and we would have to suck it up and pay a little more for a photog. We wound up choosing someone else and as some of the girls know we had similar issues with them and pulled out of that contract and we are going with Jen Lowe, which I think is so worth the extra money.

My brother and SIL used them for the DJ and photographer.  DJ was just okay, photographers were awful.  They hated most of the pictures that were taken- a lot of the photos just seemed to be of nothing in particular.  Even the formal photos were bad- I could've taken pictures just as nice with my own digital camera.  At one point in the ceremony, my dad almost had to tell the photographer to get out of his way so that he could see his son getting married.  I guess your experience could vary based on what photographers you actually end up working with, but I don't think I'd chance it.  We certainly didn't go that route for my wedding.
