I know I know...6 months out...i should have everything pretty much in place. But these are the 2 least fun things so far...ugh! Officiant is not that pressing to me...i just want someone who will respect our views/believes and be a good ring leader.DJ is slightly more important, because really, i want to have a party! I want everyone to party down, forget their problems and remember how much we love them and they love us! But the DJ Part has been a pain! We've interviewed 2 djs...one was very nice, but almost unheard of. He was older, small business type and had a bit of a lisp. When asked for a demo video, he told me he didn't have one because "my wedding" was individual and would be like no other...which i understand, but really can you imagine a photog or videog telling you this...so i got to see some youtube stuff of his sons wedding...after seeing the video-he was well...a dj. Our other interview was ok...she was a little obrassive, told us everything that was difficult with all the other weddings she's worked with in the last 6mos. Oh and told me my biggest worry is if any one would come to my wedding...if it snowed. Maybe i'm being picky...i don't know...DJ shopping is hard to do!
