<span><p>My fiancé and I went over to my parents place to give my mom her birthday present (it was the day after). </p> <p>He had said he wanted to go to up North afterward, so when we left my parents house we drove to Traverse City. </p> <p>It wasn’t the best weather but we love it there this time of year.</p> <p>He took me to this spot that I love to go to. It is a place right on the near by the lighthouse. </p> <p>So we were walking all over the place, and then we were standing in this wide open space looking at the waves hit the rocks. It was a little windy and he was holding me. He called me by my name, and when I looked at him, he asked me if I would spend the rest of my life with him. I told him yes, and then he pulled out this heart shaped ring, with a heart shaped diamond, and asked me if I would marry him. </p> <p>Of course I said yes</p></span>
