Ok...I normally wouldn't ask this, but this means a lot!
We need major knottie vibes & power that the bank will accept our offer on a house! The listing agent is a real beotch and tried to yank us around, which really has me angry.
Backstory: The last buyer backed out 75% of the way through the deal. He misunderstood what he needed to remedy for FHA. So, this chick has an attitude about the whole deal, and I'm pretty sure she's nasty in general.
So, we put in an offer. She says the bank is looking for one similar to the last guy, which was fine. We raised our offer to match that plus 500. Then she tells our REA not to bother rewriting a new PA because she has a buyer that will outbid us & is going conventional w/ a mortgage (v. FHA w/ us). First of all, this is b.s. She can't play bank. We have a signed PA w/ the seller of the home. I don't think she even submitted it! Our REA asked for the bank rejection or counter offer in writing and she didn't have it. Our REA also insisted that the listing agent's buyer does not know what our offer is, as he/she shouldn't!
I got an email yesterday that it has been submitted and the listing agent said "just waiting for the rejection or counter offer." I want to punch her in the t*t.
Please wish us luck that our offer is accepted! Thanks!
