NWR T&P's Needed Please!!

Our cat, Juice, went missing last week.

We took both of our cats to my parents house so they could play outside for a week (we do this a few times a year). Cotton came in when I called him. No one has seen Juice since Monday, the 8th.

He disappeared last year in May for about 5 days, and we completely lost it. Then he just showed up one night. So, this time we tried to stay calm and wait for him to come home... Plus I had an exam and FI had work issues... But, now I feel like we should have looked harder early on and we just feel lost.

We're 2 hours away from my parents house, and my family there is looking for him. I'm going on Wednesday, but I don't want to wait that long! I feel completely helpless, and if you're a fur mommy - you understand!

We got these two when they were only a few days old. They were born in a barn and their mom took off, so we had to feed them with bottles and wipe their butts - they really are our babies!

We miss him so much. I don't even want to think about our life without him.

So - could you just throw some extra powerful knottie thoughts and prayers out there for us, please?





He is so grounded.

Ugh okay I might come off looking like a jerk but I have to say it- if he disappeared once before why would you let him out again?  I used to volunteer for an animal shelter, and the shelter, along with most other rescues and humane organizations, strongly recommends not allowing pet cats outdoors unless they are harnessed or contained in some way.  There are too many dangers to them when they are left to wander on their own and fences don't contain cats like they do dogs.  Part of our responsibility as pet owners/furparents is to do what is best for the animal.  Sure the cat might want to go roam outside, but it is not in his best interest to be allowed to do so.

I apologize for being harsh and I really do hope you and your family find your kitty!  When he comes home give him some extra catnip and lovin', but please keep him indoors!

EDIT: If you haven't already done so posting his picture on petfinder.com or at the local animal shelters might help bring him home

I'm so sorry for what you're going through - I'd be a complete wreck if one of my little (fur) girls went missing. I hope he finds his way home! Keep us posted!
