I'm a registry stalker

The shower is not for a month, but 4 gifts have been purchased already. I'm obsessed with looking. It's sick!

I know we do a lot of talking about registry stalking, but this is the only place i can really let it out since my friends and family are the ones buying the gifts, lol.

Is it bad I hope they ship a lot of them so I don't have to lug it back to WA? Actually...don't answer that. I know it's bad.

It's not bad! It's very understandable!!, BUT what would you have to open if no one brings them to the shower?

You make a great point. I know that i won't be able to have everything shipped. I have a plan in place for the light/compact gifts. the heavy ones are bit more concerning. But there are worse problems to have in the world, right?

Do you guys all lie about it to people like I do???  Everyone asks if I look and I tell them all "nope" and I do it without even blinking an eye....

Um, I just play it casual, like "oh yeah, I've looked at it a couple times" rather than admitting that I check it at least twice a day.

Oh I check mine twice a day. Its a bad habit. I feel like I'm not going to be surprised at all.

I caved at the very end...and checked the actual gifts. For a while I was just looking at the quantity purchased but I totally lost my willpower last week. I'm actually surprised at some of the things that have not been purchased...unless people aren't scanning the registry. Oh well, enjoy it. It's addicting once you start, that's for sure.

I am a very serious registry stalker. The other day, I noticed our mixer was purchased and I bust in on Bryan in the bathroom yelling! ha!

I just got my first gift in the mail yesterday and was SOO excited. I'm like you because I live in CA so I'm glad to get stuff sent to the house but also want some stuff to open at my shower on the 29th.

I've heard about a family member that got married like 4-5 years ago and STILL has bridal shower gifts and stuff at her moms in MI when she lives in CA. Ha I dont want that to happen to me!

Hahaha! I'm SUCH a registry stalker.  Somebody bought our waffle maker and I texted my fiance, all excited.

So far we can set a table for three people, and serve them salad in the salad bowl someone else bought. Oh, and now they can eat waffles, too.  The only problem is that there aren't any plates to put said waffles or salad on yet...
