Parent & Readers Gifts

I'm only two weeks away from my wedding and I still don't have parent of reader gifts! What did you girls do/planning to do?

I would love to do something personal for everyone, but at the same time not spend a fortune....with all the last minute expenses for the wedding....my bank account is not doing so good!

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

We have 3 readers. Two are women and they are both getting a charm for their Pandora bracelets ($25 each). The guy is prob. getting a bottle of booze or wine.

We only have 1 reader.  I got her a pair of Nike flip flops she'd been eyeing.  They were around $25 as welll.  With only 2 weeks to go, maybe you get them gift cards to their fave store?  Or a nice frame with a picture of the two of you in it and a bottle of wine?  A small gift basket from Bath & Body works?

For the parents - I have no idea!  We haven't even thought about that yet!!

I'm thinking about getting the readers gift cards to Barnes and Noble, since they all do read a lot and it is someplace $20 or so will actually get you something. I'd love to do something more personal but I just can't think of anything at this point!

For the parents I am thinking we will do something like a parent album after the wedding and get them each nice picture frames to be filled with a photo of their choice after the wedding. Need to really get on that-- 2 months to go.

For my vocalist (my cousin who wants to do it as a girl but still getting her a thank you)  We are getting her two beautifully dragonfly etched wine glasses and a bottle of her fave wine.  Dragonflies are an important symbol in our family of loved ones who are watching over us.  She lost her mother and believes that a dragonfly is a sign that her mother is there watching her and is proud of her.

For the parents, we got digital photo frames.  When the pro pictures come in, we'll load them onto memory cards and give that to them too.  I know my parents will want to make their own album with a mix of pro and non-pro pictures, so albums didn't work for us.

For one of our readers (my friend), I got a Coach wristlet in her favorite color.  FI is getting our other reader (his friend) something that he likes.  Something to do with baseball.  We treated it as if we were shopping for a birthday.

Parents are getting album and DVD of the wedding video. I gave both sets personalized hankies from Etsy. My parents also got an extra gift since they pretty much paid for the whole thing... I got them a Alphabet Photography collage of my maiden name.

My sister was one of my readers as well as one of my bridesmaids, so she got plenty in her BM gift so we didn't get her anything additional for reading. Our other reader was DH's uncle and we got him a Vinturi since he and his wife are really into wine. Our other idea was a gift card to the pro shop at the country club where he is a member, but that never really came together...
