How long is your non-church ceremony and what's the order of events?

Our ceremony was about 20 minutes basically it went - officiant explaining marriage is a legally binding contract and should be taken seriously, then vows, ring exchange and then we did a unity candle and then signed the paperwork.

I am also looking into having our wedding somewhere other than a church. What are some possible locations? I was looking toward an outdoor wedding but that scares me because you never know the weather, especially in ohio. Any ideas?

Ours will be outdoors, non-denominational. I'm guessing it will be no more than 30 minutes, but will probably be more in the 20 minute range. I just finished putting together the sections for our minister and heres the categories: (some are only a sentence or 2)

What part of NE Ohio are you in? I'm from Akron, and we're having ours along Lake Erie in Rocky River. If you want somewhere with an outside/inside option you could look at Stan Hywet or the Hilton in Cuyahoga Falls.
